President - Kerstin Fontus Contact: email@example.com
Hi everyone! I'm Kerstin and I'm a 4th year Mathematics major. I joined Lions Fall Quarter of my freshman year because I love doing community service. This will be my fourth year with the club and my second year on the board. In addition to Lions, ! am a McNair Scholar, I work at TAPS (no I can't get rid of your parking ticket or get you free parking. Sorry!), and I also have done some volunteering for the Cross Cultural Center on the side. If I'm not in class or at work or trying to get through my homework, you can usually catch me in the Quad or the SCC either chilling with my friends or taking a nap. I know the best quiet spots on campus so let me know if you need a recommendations. Also I'm on a never ending quest to figure out which boba place in town is my favorite, so if you ever wanna hang, talk or just help me decide feel free to contact me! This picture was taken during Special Kids Day, one of the best events that we go to all year (not just because you get to ride motorcyles). I hope to see everyone there and at all the other great events we put on! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and having a great year with DALC!

Vice President & Publicity - Reese Wilson Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org Bonjour! I am a fourth year majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I joined DALC my freshmen year fall quarter and it was one of the best decisions I made. I am a member of the UC Davis Pre-Dental Society and hope to attend dental school when I graduate. Feel free to ask me any questions about a career in dentistry! I am also a member of the UC Davis Vision Dance Troupe. You can see me perform at our spring show in April:) When I'm not studying, I enjoy watching movies, painting nails, inline skating, baking and going to see Broadway plays. Every winter I go skiing and snowboarding in Mammoth Lakes, CA. I love volunteering in Davis because I get to make new friends and feel a part of the community. I can't wait for all the amazing events this year!

Service Chair - Arianne Medrano Contact: email@example.com I am a fourth year Neurobiology Physiology and Behavior major and I'm hoping to get into a physical therapy program after I graduate. I call SoCal home, and that's where my parents, and my neurotic drama queen Pomeranian mix live. I really enjoy all types of music. That would include listening to Latin music, to the Beatles, to Beethoven. I love concerts and musicals, my favorites being, "Phantom of the Opera" and "La La Land." I also play some piano and clarinet, which is how I ended up in the Cal Aggie Band-Uh! and Campus Band for my first two years here. In my free time, I hang out at the Newman Center and participate in their activities, catch up on my shows, go to the movies, and eat lots of ice cream. I frequently sing and dance in the car, and sometimes when I'm out and about in public, it's okay, you can always pretend you don't know me. I'm passionate about health and physical well being. In high school I volunteered in many organizations, but the one experience that really stood out was my time at Kaiser Permanente. I enjoy learning how the body works and how we can maintain our optimum health by eating healthy. In college, I went looking for something that had a community feel, and I found the Lions. I really enjoy working with other people, much more than lab rats! Besides being able to contribute and feel that I have accomplished something and possibly helped someone, I have made new friends at Lions. I am looking forward to this new year, the projects and activities, and to stretching and learning more as I take on the office as service chair.

Hey guys! I'm a second year International Relations major. I joined DALC fall quarter of my freshman year and it was one of the best decisions I made! I joined because I was super involved with community service in high school and wanted to find a community on campus that shared the same passion. I was on my high school's community service board, spent 2 years volunteering at the Braille Institute, and am currently spending some time volunteering with the International Rescue Committee. In my free time, I love eating, watching netflix, and hanging out with friends. I'm looking forward to a great year!
Hello! I am a 4th year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major, and after I graduate I’d like to attend grad school and study brain function and cognitive degeneration. I found Lions near the end of my sophomore year through a friend, which was great because I was looking for a community service club to join. I love getting to help out in the community, and meet others doing the same! Being a part of this club has made my time at Davis much more fulfilling, I get to be both helpful and make new friends. In my free time I like to watch nerdy movies and shows, hike, or do crafts, but my favorite part of the day is getting to be with friends. If you’re also interested in movies, crafting, neurology, or even just want to chat, I’d love to talk!

Membership Chair - August Ray Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi! My name is August Ray and I’m a second year! I’m currently undecided about my major, but I’m leaning strongly towards psychology. When I graduate, I either want to go to law school or physician assistant school. In addition to Lions Club, I am also in the University Honors Program. In my free time (aka when I’m not studying) I like to work out, hang with friends and watch funny shows on Netflix and Hulu. I also like being in nature and roller skating, but I haven’t been in a long time! I’m excited to serve on the board this year as the Membership and Fundraising chair! I’m also excited to meet all of the new members and serve the community!
